The Auto Collections at The Linq closed in 2017 after more than 30 years on The Strip.

The Chuck Jones Experience - Family friendly entertainment about the life of animator Chuck Jones at Circus Circus. Closed June, 2013.

Dealertainers - the celebrity impersonator dealers at The Linq have been sent packing as of September, 2014.

Eli Roth's Goretorium - Haunted house style attraction that was at the Harmon Shops next to Planet Hollywood. Closed September, 2013.

Elvis Presley Museum - The Graceland Presents Elvis exhibition at The Westgate closed suddenly in February of 2016.

Fremont Flightline - Zip line attraction on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Closed June, 2013 and replaced by SlotZilla zip line attraction.

Jubilee! Walking Tour - the backstage peek at the production show Jubilee! closed when the show did in February of 2016.

Las Vegas Zoological and Botanical Park - Small zoo on the north side of town. Closed Septmber, 2013.

Liberace Experience - Plans to relaunch a Liberace museum in Downtown Las Vegas have failed to materialize. This could still happen at some point but it is not anytime soon so the page has been removed.

The Mob Attraction at Tropicana closed in November, 2013. It was not related to the Mob Museum in Downtown Las Vegas.

Score! - the sports themed attraction at Luxor closed in July of 2014.

Sirens of TI - The pirate battle stunt show in front of Treasure Island closed in November of 2013. Despite reports that it would reopen, it has been permanently shut down. No great loss.

Skyvue - Plans for another giant observation wheel across from Mandalay Bay seem to have come to a halt with no construction the partially built wheel. This may come back at some point but for the page has been removed.

Tribute to Heroes - 9/11 memorial in front of New York-New York. Closed July, 2013 but will reopen in another location, timing TBD.


Casino MonteLago at Lake Las Vegas closed in October, 2013. It was the second closure after shutting down for more than a year in 2010 and 2011.


Alize - the fantastic French restaurant from Andre Rochat closed at The Palms in late 2017.

Aureole - the Charlie Palmer restaurant at Mandalay Bay closed in October of 2016 but then reopened in December. The room and the menu were substantially revamped so I felt it should be taken off this site until I get a chance to visit again.

B&B Burger, the burger joint from Mario Bataly, closed at The Venetian in summer of 2017.

Bartolotta - the amazing Mediterranean seafood restauarant at Wynn Las Vegas closed in October of 2015.

The Bier Garten at The Plaza closed in the spring of 2017.

BLT Burger - the burger joint at The Mirage was shuttered by health officials and then shut down by the hotel, which revamped it and renamed it in April of 2016.

Bougainvillea - 24 hour café at Terrible's. Replaced by another 24 hour café when the hotel changed names to Silver Sevens in June, 2013.

The Carmel Room - the restaurant has not specifically closed, but merged with another restaurant in a different space and so it stopped being what had been reviewed on this site.

Central Michel Richard - 24 hour café at Caesars Palace closed in October of 2014.

Comme Ca - the French restaurant at The Cosmopolitan closed in 2015.

The Cupcakery - the outlet at Monte Carlo closed but the main store on Eastern Ave. in Henderson is still open.

Diablo's Cantina - the Mexican restaurant at Monte Carlo closed in late 2017.

Downtown eatery Glutton closed in December of 2016.

The Griddle Café at SLS Las Vegas - closed January 2015.

Grind Burger, a build-it-yourself burger joint just east of The Strip, closed in December of 2013.

Gigi's Cupcakes at The Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas closed in 2013.

Gold Coast Buffet at The Gold Coast closed 2015.

Harley Davidson Cafe - closed October 2016.

Heraea - Sports themed restaurant at The Palms. Closed September, 2013.

I <3 Burgers - the burger joint at Palazzo closed October 2016.

Itsy Bitsy Ramen and Whiskey - the amazing Asian street food restaurant in Downtown Vegas closed November, 2016.

KGB (Kerry's Gourmet Burgers) - Best burgers in town at Harrah's but it closed in March of 2015.

Max Brenner Chocolate - the chocolate focused restaurant at The Forum Shops closed in March of 2014.

Munchbar - the small quick-serve restaurant at Caesars Palace closed in July of 2014.

Nobhill - Upscale restaurant from Michael Mina at MGM Grand. Closed May, 2013.

O Face Doughnuts - the "extreme" doughnut shop in Downtown Las Vegas closed in December of 2015.

PJ Clarke's - The famed New York City restaurant has been in business for more than 125 years in that city, but only last a couple of years in Vegas. The outlet at The Forum Shops closed October, 2013.

Pork and Beans - The small eatery at the Downtown Container Park from chef Kerry Simon closed in April of 2014.

The Pub at Monte Carlo closed in 2016 as that hotel is getting transformed into The Park MGM.

Radio City Pizza in Downtown Las Vegas closed in 2015.

Rock & Rita's - The party bar/restaurant at Circus Circus closed in late 2013.

Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace closed in January of 2017.

Sirio - an Italian restaurant at Aria closed in late 2014.

Shibuya - the Japanese sushi restaurant at MGM Grand closed in June of 2016.

Sporting House - the sports themed restaurant at New York-New York closed in June of 2014. It was replaced by a Tom's Urban and a Shake Shack in 2015.

Stewart + Ogden - the casual eatery at the Downtown Grand closed in spring of 2016.

Sugar Factory - the 24 hour restaurant and sweet shop at Paris Las Vegas closed in February of 2015. A new one opened at the Fashion Show Mall in 2017.

Todd English PUB - Chef Todd English left the property and the menu has changed.

Yusho - the Japanese restaurant at Park MGM (aka Monte Carlo) closed in May of 2017.

Zydeco Po'Boys in Downtown Las Vegas closed in early 2017.


AllNet - technically not closed since it was never built. This proposed hotel and arena never got off the ground and while not officially cancelled, it's not going to happen.

Alon - the proposed hotel from Crown Resorts that was supposed to be built where the Frontier once stood was cancelled in December of 2016.

Gold Spike - small Downtown hotel. Closed April, 2013.

The Riviera closed in May of 2015.

Rumor, the small boutique hotel off The Strip, was purchased, remodeled, and renamed.

The Westin Las Vegas is not closed, but they are closing the casino and revamping the hotel so it is about to become a lot less interesting to the average Vegas tourist, so we removed it from the site.


1923 Bourbon & Burlesque dropped the burlesque part of the program, which is really the only thing that made it interesting. Although the club is still open, it is not in its original form that was reviewed on this site and so it was removed.

The Act - wild nightclub at Palazzo that was just a little too wild for its own good. Closed October, 2013.

Body English - the nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel closed for a second time in July of 2015.

Bourbon Room - the 80s hair metal band themed bar at The Venetian closed when its inspiration, the show Rock of Ages moved out in early 2016.

Buffalo - gay bar on Paradise Ave. Closed September, 2013.

Club Metro - gay bar on Sahara Ave. Closed in 2015.

Drink & Drag - gay nightclub at Neonopolis in Downtown Las Vegas. Closed October, 2013.

Fizz - the swank cocktail bar at Caesars Palace closed in December 2017.

Gallery - nightclub at Planet Hollywood. Closed September, 2013.

Ghostbar - the swank ultralounge at The Palms closed in late 2017.

Haze - nightclub at Aria Las Vegas. Closed October, 2014.

Insert Coin(s) - the video game inspired bar and club in Downtown Las Vegas closed July, 2015.

Krave Massive - gay nightclub at Neonopolis in Downtown Las Vegas. Closed September, 2013.

Krave Nightclub - gay nightclub at the former Empire Ballroom space by the MGM Grand closed July, 2014.

The Lady Silvia - a speakeasy style bar in Downtown Las Vegas closed in October, 2014.

LAX - the nightclub at Luxor closed in the spring of 2017.

Liaison - the gay nightclub at Bally's closed in January, 2015

Moon - the main nightclub at The Palms closed in April, 2014.

Pure - the big nightclub at Caesars Palace closed in the summer of 2014.

Shadow - the lounge at Caesars Palace closed in February 2015.

Share - the gay nightclub/strip club closed in June of 2016.

Stoney's - the country western bar on the south side of town closed in 2015.

Surrender - the ultralounge at Encore Las Vegas closed in late 2017.

Tabu - ultralounge at MGM Grand. Closed April, 2013.

Tryst - the big club at Wynn Las Vegas closed November 2015 and will reopen with a new name and design sometimes in 2016.

Vanity - the nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel closed in 2015.

The View - an ultralounge space at The Palms closed in April, 2014.


Gamblers Book Club closed its location in Henderson and merged with Gambler's General Store in February 2014.

Kitson at the Linq Promenade closed in 2016.

The Polaroid Photo Bar and Museum at Linq Promenade closed in 2015.

The Zombie Apocalypse Store closed in May of 2017. Grrr...Arrgh.


53X - the adult revue at Paris Las Vegas closed in the fall of 2016.

All Stage Pass - Caesars Entertainment no longer offers this multi-show entertainment pass.

Britney Spears' show at Plant Hollywood closed at the end of 2017.

Clint Holmes show at Palazzo closed in December of 2016.

Duck Commander - the musical based on the Duck Dynasty reality show played at The Rio for about six weeks and then closed in May of 2015.

Frank: The Man, The Music - the Frank Sinatra tribute show at closed at The Venetian in December of 2015

Frankie Moreno - the singer's show at The Stratosphere ended in December of 2014 and his run at Planet Hollywood ended in June of 2016.

George Wallace - the comedian ended his decade long run at The Flamingo in April of 2014.

The Improv comedy club at Harrah's closed in the spring of 2016

Jeff Civillico's juggling show at The Flamingo closed in late 2016.

Jeff Dunham - the puppet master closed his show at Planet Hollywood in 2015.

Jersey Boys - the Broadway musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons closed at Paris Las Vegas in September, 2016

Jubilee! - the long-running showgirl extravaganza closed at Bally's in February of 2016.

Louie Anderson - the comedian's shows at The Plaza ended in April of 2015.

Mamma Mia! - The attempt to bring back the ABBA musical to Vegas at The Tropicana didn't work out. It closed after only 3 months in August of 2014.

Mariah Carey - The diva's residency at Caesars Palace ended in May of 2017 but she is still doing some sort runs at the hotel moving forward.

Matt Goss - the crooner's show at Caesars Palace closed in the summer of 2016.

Million Dollar Quartet - the jukebox musical closed at Harrah's in late 2016.

Olivia Newton-John's headlining gig at The Flamingo closed in late 2016.

Panda! - the bizarre martial arts show at The Venetian closed in December of 2014.

Paul Zerdin's show at Planet Hollywood closed after only a few months in September of 2016.

Peepshow - Adult fairly tale themed show at Planet Hollywood. Closed September, 2013.

Raiding the Rock Vault - Rock revue at the Westgate. Closed September, 2014 -- and then it opened at Tropicana and then closed again in July, 2016.

Recycled Percussion - the drum dudes closed their show at Planet Hollywood in May of 2017.

Rock of Ages - the 80s jukebox musical at The Rio closed in late 2016.

RockTellz & Cocktails - Music and storytellign show at Planet Hollywood. Closed 2014.

Roseanne Barr - The headline stint from the stand up comic at The Tropicana. Closed May, 2013.

Shania Twain - the country superstar's show at Caesars Palace ended in December of 2014.

Showstoppers - the Broadway revue at Wynn Las Vegas closed December, 2016.

Suzanne Somers - the show starring the former "Three's Company" actress at the Westgate closed in July, 2015

Vegas Nocturne - the wild show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas closed in July of 2014.

Veronic - the female singing impressionist's show at Bally's closed in 2015.

Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil - the acrobat and aerialist showcase at Aria closed in May of 2016. The theater was torn down to make way for new convention space.
