What is it?

One of the best – and the most expensive – buffets in town.

Where is it?

At Paris Las Vegas on the Center Strip.

What kind of food is served?

Although the kids may not enjoy the French flair to the food offerings here, most everyone else should be able to find something to eat. They divide the buffet up into cuisines served in the various regions in France (Provence, etc.) but it isn’t French food, strictly speaking. Instead expect some heavy sauces and other twists on buffet favorites that create a new level of dining achievement. Of special note are the desserts – especially the Bananas Foster (sautéed bananas in a rich caramel sauce) and the hand made crepes, which we still have dreams about.

What is the atmosphere like?

One of the most fun buffet rooms in town, modeled after a quaint French countryside village. Most of the dining is in the village square under a faux sky but several “houses” surrounding the square offer some more intimate spaces.

How is the service?

Even though you only come in contact with the wait staff for your drink order, they were noteworthy here for their attention to the customers and speed.

What are the prices like?

As mentioned, this is the high-end of the buffet scale with dinner well over the $30 per person mark. I think it’s worth it.

What else do I need to know?

Did I mention the hand made crepes?

What’s the bottom line?

Bears repeating: one of the best buffets in town.
