Information

Taking over the long-dormant Echelon site (where The Stardust used to be), Resorts World will be a 3,500 room hotel with a 110,000 square-foot casino, two dozen restaurants, a 5,000-seat theater for headliner style entertainment, shopping, several pools, a huge nightclub, and a spa. While the original idea was to have an Asian theme, complete with a giant panda exhibit and a replica of the great wall of China, all of that has been dropped. The design will have Asian touches but no explicit theme other than luxury and high tech, the latter in the form of massive LED screens including 100,000 square-foot screen on one of the towers that will be one of the largest in the US.

They are aiming for luxury, so expect rates and fees to be high.

It is expected to open in the summer of 2021.
