The place is a bit hard to find – go up the escalators at Strip entrance to the Grand Canal Shoppes, go outside, turn right, and it’ll be on your right.
What’s the bottom line?
Not as much fun as it was when it was at The Quad.

When this club was located at The Imperial Palace (before it became The Quad) it was an everyman’s (and woman’s) party spot – the kind of place with beer pong, drink slingers dancing on the bar, and lots and lots of shot specials. When the hotel started its transformation to the more upscale The Quad, the club got the boot and landed here in a new home at The Venetian. In the process it has lost a bit of what made it special.
First, it’s hard to find. Before it was right on The Strip so you got all types of people wandering in to join the party. Now you have to actively seek out its location on the second floor, adjacent to the upstairs entrance of The Grand Canal Shoppes and across the hall from First Food and Bar. Since the casual drop-in crowd is gone that leaves a more nightclub focused audience, which changes the vibe considerably.
There are two rooms – a bar with casual seating, beer pong tables, and other diversions and a club area with a dance floor, billiard tables, and both open and bottle service seating. It’s all nice but despite its graffiti style decor it feels more manufactured than the previous club.
The good news is that there is rarely a cover and drink prices are a bit lower than you’d pay at more high-end nightclubs.
There’s nothing specifically wrong with the new Rockhouse – it has all the elements that should make it a fun place to party and play – but those elements just aren’t coming together like they used to.
