What is it?

A glorified mini-mall that has been designed to look like an outdoor Hawaiian market.

Where is it?

On the Center Strip, across the street from CityCenter.

What do they sell?

Mostly stuff you don’t need. There are several stores and cart-vendors selling trinkets, doodads, clothing, jewelry, and other stuff. There are no brand-names here – you won’t find a Gap – so make sure you like that shirt before you buy it because you won’t be able to run it back to your local mall to exchange it.

What are the prices like?

Too high, generally speaking. This is a place that capitalizes on the fact that it is in a highly trafficked area between MGM Grand and Planet Hollywood. I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s a tourist trap, but you won’t find any locals shopping here.

What should I be sure to check out?

There are a couple of food vendors if you are feeling peckish and they are a lot cheaper than eating in most restaurants on The Strip.

Why should I shop here?

Because… wait… no, wait… I’ll think of something. Give me a minute.

What else do I need to know?

When I said glorified strip mall, I meant it. This used to be a boring, boxy strip mall before they threw all the Hawaii decorations at it.

What’s the bottom line?

Pass on by.
