A just-this-side of dive bar that, despite the name that has strong roots in the gay world, is only peripherally about the leather community.

Where is it?

A few miles east of The Strip.

What kind of crowd does it draw?

More locals than tourists and mostly older. People in their 20s are rare.

What are the prices like?

Rock bottom. You can get some really cheap drinks here.

When is the best time to go?

Wednesday or Friday night is their infamous underwear party. Strip down to your skivvies and you drink for free. Yes, free!

Why should I go here?

Because you like a good dive bar every now and then.

What else do I need to know?

The place got quite a reputation for its prurient atmosphere but it has mellowed considerably in recent years. That can be good or bad depending on your outlook.

If you are a fan of the Eagle in other cities you will probably be disappointed by this one.
