Is it worth the cost?

There’s no entry fee but there is a charge for each game. Your kids can blow through a lot of money pretty quickly here – although no more than you’re dropping in the casino.

What else do I need to know?

If you have kids this is a great place to take them. If you don’t and don’t want to be around other people’s kids then avoid this place.

What’s the bottom line?

Great for kids with unlimited funds but if all they want is a stuffed animal you can probably get one for less money and a lot faster at the gift shop.

So you want to put your money in a game and get something other than money back? You’re in luck! The Circus Circus Midway is like a casino only with games of chance where you can win things like stuffed animals. It’s designed for kids, of course, but adults can find some retro pleasures here as well as long as you don’t mind being around kids.

The coolest part of all this are the circus acts that pop-up under the big top throughout the day. You’ll might see trapeze artists, aerialists, or tightrope walkers and you won’t have to wade through all that French Canadian theatricality you’ll get at the Cirque shows. Is it as thrilling as a Cirque show? Probably not, but did I mention it’s free?
