Late night TV host Jimmy Kimmel has put his name on a comedy club at the Linq Promenade. This 8,000 square-foot venue is by far the nicest of the comedy clubs in Las Vegas, an upscale room that can seat up to 300. There’s a bar, food, and entertainment of course in the form of stand up comics who usually aren’t Jimmy Kimmel. You probably haven’t heard of most of them although occasionally you’ll get a familiar name (Tom Arnold, David Alan Grier, and Emo Philips were scheduled on dates during a recent check of the roster). If you haven’t heard of whoever is headlining, spend some time on YouTube and get familiar. While Kimmel wants to protect his brand and probably won’t be booking anyone whose comedy is too shocking, there will definitely be more curse words and adult content than what you can see on a network television show.

Kimmel does make occasional surprise appearances so maybe you’ll luck into seeing him on a future visit.

I don’t rate comedy clubs since the overall experience totally depends on the comics and their material so it varies from day to day, but I feel pretty good about saying that this place will probably be the top of the line in Vegas stand up so if you want to get a few laughs, start here.
